Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act

Last month, Congress passed and President Obama signed into law a bill that restores women’s ability to challenge unequal pay.  The bill effectively reverses a Supreme Court decision that held a minority only had 180 days from the original discriminatory paycheck to file suit. The Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act allows women and minorities the opportunity to stand up and fight for the pay they so desperately need and deserve.
