Tire Recall

by on June 30, 2009

Kumho Tire USA is recalling 36,292 light truck tires because of the risk of a crash, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).  The recalled tires are Kumho Mohave A/T light truck all terrain tires, sizes LT225/75R16, LT245/75R16, and LT265/75R16.  The tires were produced between December 7, 2008 and June 13, 2009. Vehicle handling performance becomes difficult under loaded conditions or when changing lanes, NHTSA said.  This condition may result in the vehicle swaying and could possibly result in a crash, NHTSA said.
