BMW is recalling model year 2009 X5 and X6 vehicles because the brakes may fail, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).  The rear disk brakes on these vehicles may not have been manufactured according to specifications, and as a result, the vehicles could lose braking power, NHTSA said.
