A man who was struck and killed by a car was identified yesterday as Patrick Aaron Drown, 19, the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office said.

Drown, a North County resident, was struck on Buena Creek Road, east of Robinhood Road, in an unincorporated area north of San Marcos about 4 a.m. Saturday. The driver told California Highway Patrol officers that Drown was lying on the road when he was hit.
