November 24, 2009 – Police are searching for a driver who struck a pedestrian Monday night in Clairemont and fled the scene.

The accident happened shortly before 6 p.m. in the 3000 block of Clairemont Drive.

The victim suffered serious injuries and was rushed to the hospital.

The suspect’s car is described as a silver four-door sedan with California plates, and damage to the left front side.
