The pedestrians were hit on Tiger Way near Positive Place. The motorist was turning left onto Tiger Way when she struck the two women and the toddler. The women were taken to Palomar Medical Center. The toddler was airlifted to Rady Children’s Hospital.

The driver of the Saturn says the accident occurred when her accelerator pedal stuck.

Pechanga Resort uses the shuttle to transfer patrons to its outer parking lot.

According to authorities, the accident occurred at 5:30 p.m. on College Avenue near Cresita Drive. The woman was apparently heading south on College when she was clipped by the Hyundai SUV, which was being driven by a 55-year-old male.

The woman was taken to a local hospital with fractures to her face.
