A 25-year-old woman died early Sunday morning after she and the man she was walking with on an El Cajon street were hit by an SUV. According to authorities, the accident occurred around 2 a.m. as the two were crossing West Main Street near Van Houten Street. A pedestrian was seriously injured Friday after being hit by an SUV on Coast Highway in Oceanside. According to authorities, the accident occurred around noon near where Coast Highway turns into Highway 76. The pedestrian, a 59-year-old man, was walking on the sidewalk when the out-of-control SUV rear-ended a couple of cars, jumped the curb and hit him. The SUV then plowed into a restaurant.
