March 1, 2010 – A pedestrian suffered severe injuries last night when he was struck by two vehicles, including a sheriff’s patrol car, in the High Desert city of Apple Valley, according San Bernardino County Sheriff’s officials. The victim was airlifted to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in Colton following the 8 p.m. accident Sunday along Highway 18 near Kiowa Road. The pedestrian was carrying no identification, investigators said. His condition is not available. San Bernardino Man Struck, Killed Crossing Busy Street

December 3, 2009 –A 46-year-old San Bernardino man was struck and killed by a car last night while crossing a busy street in that city, according to San Bernardino County coroner’s officials. Rafael Garcia died at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center about a half hour after the 7:59 p.m. accident Wednesday at Mill Street and Rancho Avenue. A 2001 Toyota Camry hit Garcia as he was walking across Mill Street. San Bernardino pedestrian struck, killed by minivan

November 16, 2009 – A 54-year-old San Bernardino woman died last night in a Colton hospital from injuries she suffered last month during a Rialto traffic accident, according to San Bernardino County coroner’s officials. Deborah Valdivia was struck by a minivan at 3:33 p.m. on Oct. 2 while she was walking across the street near Foothill Boulevard and Pepper Avenue. She was taken to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center where she died at 9:40 p.m. Sunday. Rialto police are investigating.
