March 11, 2010 – According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) Office of Defect Investigations (ODI), Toyota is recalling certain Model Year 2010 Tundra vehicles with four wheel drive. There is a possibility that an improper weld exists at the union of the propeller shaft and yoke. Driver Killed After Car Crashes Into Big Rig

March 2, 2010 – David Epstein, 87, of Coronado, died Tuesday when his car crashed into the back of a disabled big rig on SR-15 in the Mountain View area. Epstein was heading north about 11:35 a.m. when his Toyota Camry veered to the right for unknown reasons and hit the parked truck just south of Ocean View Boulevard, according to the California Highway Patrol and San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office.
